18th International Conference of ISQua

Effective leadership in quality and safety in health care means having access to the most recent information and practical experience.

ISQua's annual international conferences are recognised as providing a stimulating forum with exchange of information and updates on practice and policy development. Delegates include national health policy leaders and decision-makers, researchers, healthcare professionals in all disciplines, representatives from clinical organisations, standards and accreditation organisations, healthcare networks, providers and consumer organisations.

The 18th International Conference of the International Society for Quality in Healthcare was held from 1st to 5th October 2001, in Buenos Aires. It was attended by Dr. M. A. Kadar Marikar and Y. Bhg. Dato’ Dr. S. Noor Ghani (Chief Surveyor). Dr. M. A. Kadar Marikar, who is also a permanent member of the ISQua’s Accreditation Federation ‘ALPHA’ Council, attended the Council meeting.
